is there still companies that let you drive any car 3rd party aslong as its insured under 21.
i remember quinn direct doing it but not sure if any still do?

Bell direct do too. it's an option on their site.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Quinn still do it as far as Im aware. I wouldnt trust those bastards though, there will be something in the small print.

also if i have had a full years no claims but with 2 different insurance companies, does that count as a full years no claims ?

no matter what with quinn, as long as you have a full licence with them your insured to drive any car, i asked them about it when i was with them.

I'm with bell they wont let under 25 drive any car 3rd party anymore and as already said quinn are the only ones which will under 21

Thing with Quinn is you probably have to be 21, have the owner in the car and if you crash the excess would be lol amounts tbh !
And infact your original statement is incorrect, I enquired about driving the gf's dads car, however wasn't covered.
