I had a brand new A4 2.0TDI 143 SE for a couple of days last week. I cant imagine it ever getting near 55MPG. Very refined though.
Not a bad car. I was annoyed by the position of the pedals to start with as the transmission tunnel cuts in to the drivers footwell so the pedals have been pushed over to the side. I did get used to it but its bad design. Probably not an issue if you got an S-tronic but thats besides the point
