Well got my MOT coming up soon and need to get a Cat for it, now i have seen a Sports cat online which i was thinking about getting, but there is also a standard Cat for my engine which i can get for half the price which the relevant flanges etc.

My questions are:

How much Power will be lost with a standard Cat as aposed to a sports Cat??
And are sports cats worth the money for the gains??

would have thought you'd only get a couple of bhp at best unless you're running a high spec engine.
