Hi
Just wondering, but what you reckon the best 1.0L car would be, taking into consideration reliability, performance and price?

JR got there first with the 100bhp 3 cyl Chirade. Quite a rapid wee thing for a 1.0!

Charade GTti = WIn.
Nearly bought one a couple of years ago, bit tall for it, top of my head sat just out of the sunroof

You won't find a 1.0L with any performance.
As far as price and reliability...try and buy the cheapest car with the lowest milage and most service history that you can...that's all the advice I can offer. also don't buy a car from somebody that has "fitted well kewl neonz m8" or owt like that because you know it's been abused.

Seriously though, can't fault my 12v apart from the speed.
Don't overlook something like a Toyota Yaris. You pay bit of a premium, but I'd imagine they are pretty good. 16v too.

Lotus Carlton was just over 100bhp / litre..
Did they make the Charade GTi before 1991?

Honda done it ages before then in 1992 with their Civic SiR. 1.6 with 170bhp.
