a few layers of bubble wrap tbh.

and then a layer of parcle tape normaly does the trick

My exhaust came wrapped in bubble wrap and carboard via DHL.

i was thinking bubble wraped, taped and 2 garden sacks with details on wear its going.. i got some gaffer tape though..lol

Yup just bubble wrap was fine for me... cost £7 or so to send from parcel2go.com

I used to pack for Demontweeks. Cardboard the tip for protection, and cardboard the other end as its sharp. Then just wrap it in bubblewrap, quite a few layers. Then wrap it in clingfilm to seal it all. Jobs a gudden!
