Just seen one of these for the first time, booted it out of the dealership my god the noise it made. There where two focus RS next door at the ford dealership and i didnt give them a second glance when i saw the vxr8. Anyone lucky enough to have driven one of these?

Drove one in anger round a track.
Awesome noise, would never get bored of that sound.
Don't feel all that fast, but happily pile on momentum without you really noticing.
The one I drove just pulled and pulled, 70 comes in no time and the needle just doesn't slow down. Pulled 120-130mph on the straights no problem, but without much drama either.

Certainly a baptism of fire btw. You certainly don't do things by half measures.

TCS is a menace
I think it produces complacency in the driver.
Keep it off and drive as if you have the grim reaper in the back seat if the road is anything less than bone dry
Reserve naughtyness for dry roads and always keep it measured
TVRs are properly naughty and you just have to take your chances in them. No option of turning it down/off.
