Does anyone know of some decent garages in Bournemouth area to have a look at my girlfriend's car?

basically somebody went into the back of her 2 weeks ago, now this has all been repaired now no worries there, but the ahem, 'mechanic' starting the usual shite of telling her that her front passenger side suspension is knackered, and apparrently its so dangerous that he wouldnt drive it out of his garage.

from what she told me this chap has said, it needs a new part to the steering rack at £157, needs a few other bits, the whole job totalled at £471 quid or something silly.

I have driven this car quite a bit, its absolutely fine, flew through its MOT 4 months ago without even a mention of this apparrant catastrophic failure to the front suspension.

im convinced this character is trying to put the frightners on her being a girl and knowing absolutely nothing about cars, im going down there on sat to pick it up and will get this guy to show me what hes banging on about, but i want to get another garage to look and see what they say.

soooooo, if anyone can recommend me a garage i would be eternally grateful.

btw, its a 2005 fiat punto
