Been offered through their site a reasonable price for a Corsa SXi I'm selling. Is that just to get you interested will they then start knocking me down on silly things when they inspect the car

My brother did. He told them all the damage that was on the car and when the assesor saw it he didnt try and knock the price down.
As long as your honest then its fine, plus you dont HAVE to sell it to them if they dont say a price your happy with.

yeah used them over 3 years sgo for the TT and got a cracking deal
Might have changed since then
Basically they gave me 1k more than trade in price but slightly less than what they were going for on auto trader - although no hassle of trying to sell
