do changeing cams in a 2.5 to 3.0 ltr set make much difference?

Along with other mods such as filter/exhaust/fpr etc yes makes alot of difference, mine was pushing 211bhp on the rollers afterwards.

well ive already done blue injectors superchip lite flywheel air filter decat ect just wonderin if cams would make much diff

Yes they should definatly, theres quite a few threads about on various vaux sites if you do a quick search on google mate.

cams and a remap and you ll be laughing! had 3.0 cams in my old vec, once remapped it pulled soo much better. made 201bhp 204 lbft on the rollers after it was all set up.

use 4.0 bar fuel reg off a vag aswell

A 3.8bar FPR off a 2.6 Vec Gsi will do the trick.

Fitting just the cams makes a massive difference.You can feel them kicking in at around 3500rpm.

On there own they will add about 15-20bhp.
