For an un-rebuilt one you're looking at about £3-400, so it's whatever you think the rebuild's worth tbh.

edit to say, davie knows more about these things than me tbh. I was just going off recent for sale ads I've seen.

As said, for a decent engine, you're looking at £300-400. For a rebuilt one, could be more than double that.

oil leaks, go for a drive, see if any smoke on the over run, may be rings fucked...never know may say been rebuilt, but never know. id usually look at how tidy the conversion or work is thats been done, that can say whether they take pride or dont give a fuck

Not deeeaaadddd sure if I'm right in saying this, but if it's been fully rebuilt with new bottom end bearings then from running it in there are wee bits of metal floating about. I've heard of people doing a couple of oil changes but maybe he was just doing it to be sure.

If its rebuilt properly no mechanical worries should happen, but the sensors will still be 15+ years old

All of them lol
Not a bad price tho so well done on that, if i rebuilt an engine i'd be changing the oil ever 200 miles till 1k after rebuild, and i'd only be reving it at surten rpm's
