Yer that or civic

but for a nice laid back quick car the leon wins

Only time civic is better is when chucking it about and possibly reliability but the leons hardly going to be bad

My order of preference now is:

1. Astra SRI 150PS CDTI XP 3dr Black or Red - with tuning box to give 200bhp

Question for Kano - Does the box make it smoke a lot? Would want it wired into the sport button too so could run standard 150BHP for tootling about.

2. Alfa GT JTD 1.9 black;

3. Seat Leon Cupra R black;

4. Mondeo ST TDCI blue;

5. Astra VXR blue - only this low as for 8.5k it will be a 60k+ miler.

My friend has an Astra 150 CDTI. I found it very smooth, comfy with good poke as standard. With the tuning box I can only imagine it would make the drive more excitable yet keeping its good economy.

Its a tough call between the Astra and the Alfa IMO

Think common sense would prevail and I would go for the Astra I think.....

Hmmm maybe the Alfa though....mean it looks spot on and the interior is lovely in them

The Astra XP is a good looking car...and will be reliable...good all rounder..cheaper to insure...

The Alfa GT looks amazing...will it fall apart...costs more to insure...more expensive to fix...

Red Top Corsa - I would prefer a standard car.

Tom - The Alfa is a stunner.

The RS looks dated.
