£3k red Mk1 golf 1.1 54200miles

2 owners: 1 lady for 24 years (53500 miles) , 1 male for 2 years (500 miles)

Receipt from day purchased, serviced every july, every year without fail, with stamped book and reciepts to prove,

new ats cup alloys, hottuning coilovers, immaculate interior, new carb, new cambelt, fuelpump,

respray in original red colour 1.5 years ago purely because the current owner is a perfectionist,

garaged from new

i think it is definately a fair price to pay, my dad on the otherhand thinks i would be being ripped off if i were to pay this much. . .

Depends if thats what you want etc. Personally i wouldnt pay £3k for a 26year old car. If its what you want go for it.

3k 300 is more like it.

Repainted because he is a perfectionist doesn't cut it for me either, a paint job will never be the same as the original, there's probably another reason.

It'd have to have a Ferrari engine in it for me to spend that much on a Mk1!

if it was a mk1 gti i would say yes but its not so in my eyes fails.think about it would you pay that for say 1.2 car that is newer,say pre2004.you could get so much more for your money

Seller is obviously hoping that someone who thinks VAG Cars are THE shit will buy it thinking its a bargain...
