I've got one.. Swirl flap problem is pretty common, turbos go on any car, wouldn't say there any worse on these, depends how you treat it.

Good power standard and for £200 you can have 200bhp and a lot of torque. Whats the spec and age etc of the one your looking at.

Heres mine, 5drs look better than 3 imo, visibility is crap int he 3drs but nothing you wouldn't get used to..

Sounds decent, good sign its not been an enterprise car with that mileage, would be much higher if it was.. Every one I went to see had over 25k on it and they were '08 plates. Had to go to liverpool to get that one with 7k miles on it.

Dont let a bit of smoke put you off either, there quite smokey engines when there cold especially.

Heres mine 5 dr aswell.best imo

I have the DTUK eco 3 tuning box 200bhp

and it also increases fuel economy i average 47mpg around town
60-65 long runs

swirl flaps do go but its easy to spot car seems very sluggish and smokes alot under load.

clutch problems.

the flywheels break down over time causing a knocking when engaging gear and clutch judder when cold.
however this was sorted after a 56 plate i am sure.
expensive fix if you dont spot it so beware £1200 ish
