excellent
not entirely sure yet as we've not had a chance to fully investigate but on friday night in 5th gear it was making a whistling noise then all of a sudden it grinded like fuck and lost drive managed to get it back in gear and got home but it is making a cunt of a howling noise but when you drop the clutch it stops

leaking from the selector seal?
to be honest, if you have the know how it would be cheaper to strip the box and repair it. Second hand boxes for these are around the £500 mark - purely because they are in demand

My mate paid £800 for a new gear box on his 2001 seat ibiza, had only done 50k too. Aparant common problem?
