I just remember from that poll someone done on here a while back that the Toyo T1R was getting as good scores as the Uniroyal's so being around the same price I went with them.
I really don't see the problem with them at all.

The only problem with them really is the soft sidewall which means on track the tyres scrub a fair bit... but we're talking road tyres here! Oh and uniryals do the same, I have a set here and can proove that lol

My T1R's have lasted well over 18 months, and they have plenty of tread left too. And that's with me living in roundabout city. Done about 10k in that time.

Toyo T1r
Goodyear f1
uniroyal rainsport 2's?
I have and if there was a difference I didn't notice it!
I haven't used the Toyo's, but I have used the others, both in 195/45/15, and I much prefer the Goodyears - they seem to grip better, be a bit more understandable as they break away much more progressively than the Uniroyal's, and above all, they seem to have lasted a lot longer - I went through the Uniroyals in about 8k - the Goodyears lasted me more like 12-13k.
