some vids.... as they are coming off the camera... comments later
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/ak_snet_pract1.wmv - Me in Impreza, practice session....
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/ak_snet_pract2.wmv - Me in Impreza, 2nd part of practice ses... aiming for another few hot laps but boost hose popped of.... :/ session was red flagged and restarted, but i didnt make it back out. RX7 Nearly took me out towards the end of the vid when you hear the tyre screetches... close behind!
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/ak_snet_qual1.wmv - qualifying... came in early after seeing some smoke from exhaust on shifts, and from drivers side front... came into pits, nothing obvious so back out again
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/ak_snet_qual2.wmv - off at coram with fucked tyres doh
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/ak_snet_qual3.wmv - tyres are wrecked.... and i set my fastest lap - 1:21.5s, 5th in my Group (Club Group B)
hhee... some offs, a spin.... and some scrappy driving. Was very good fun though, and showed where the car needs a lot of work... susp and brakes.... Understeer was a big issue after 1 hot lap... susp is just pish... and the brakes are... well... standard 4pots Still managed the 2nd highest trap speed into the braking zone on the back straight in warmup, and 3rd in practice though not sure what happened to me in the qualifying though.... 13mph down on that speed trap, but over 1sec quicker
Car lasted very well, despite my best efforts misfire around 6000rpm was a bit of a pain when boost was turned up... you can prob hear it in vids.
Will post Fee's vids soon.... driving styles are very different

Fee's first two hot laps in the final... Scott Robson getting a bit out of shape on a few of the corners
http://www.trackscotland.co.uk/vid/snet/fee_snet_final1.wmv
Her fastest lap was 1:18.1 good enough for 8th in class over all

i'd rather hear what folk have to say...
I know what I was doing wrong... but its all too easy to pick up on it after. Its the first time I've done any competative stuff on track, and maybe i was pushing the car too fast into corners.... slow in fast out may have worked better than fast in, understeer round, over steer out
its fun though.
Need to sort the handling of the car out... or just get multiple sets of wheels/tyres as it didnt understeer nearly as much when the tyres were fresher.

I'll send you a pm tonight then or something, i'll go back through the vids as theres a fair few minutes of footage there.
Last time I tried to give some constructive advice about lines and such, all the mig lot came on and started getting all abusive, telling me to give my advice to F1 drivers (basically typical moronic replies).
Deffo think I could maybe give a few tips to help, but then again, my driving experience of a 500bhp 4wd Skyline isn't like yours, so it could all be a load of unhelpfull rubbish...
But i'll drop you a PM, if it helps, it helps, if it don't, well at least its not being out of spite and im trying to help, even if i am wrong or you disagree

The DCCD (Centre Diff) was set to give about 80% RWD (or it was 'open')
points i know....
Entry to first corner was too early (and not as wide to edge of track as it should have been) - I had to adjust my line mid corner... I felt the exit of this corner was good though
2nd corner - as best i could manage with undertsteer... could have maybe coaxed the rear into play earlier
3rd corner, end of revetts - should have stayed on the power longer, braked deeper giving a better line over the kerbs and entry (wider) to the next corner.
Bombhole - loved it.... could have attacked it more with less understeer! (but if you look at the gears/revs i'm prob about 5000rpm in 4th round it and coram.
Coram - was getting faster and faster as the day went on... think you just need to build the speed up on this corner.
Chicane - wasnt sure if my sump would clear the entry kerb... so didnt chance it
