Same thing. I think you're referring to VTA DV's, which isn't what we're talking about.

Red? How much boost are you running?

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Red - 30 + PSI

I only have a yellow and am Stage 2

Forge Motorsport Products

FORGE 007P DV 1.8T 20v = £85 fully fitted with correct spring setup

This is a must have bolt on mod for any tuned / remapped 1.8T engine.
The superior Forge Motorsport 007P DV / closed loop dump valve will provide crisper gears changes, faster turbo spool, less turbo lag, boost held stronger.

Stock engine will need to use the green spring
Spec1 tuned engines will need to use the yellow spring
Spec2 & big turbo applications will need red spring and shims.

Using shims will make the spring stronger. I don't know of anyone using more than a blue even on big turbo conversions. Red seems very high that's all. If it works fine then meh!
