has anyone here taken their handbrake gaitor off?

i cant find a way of replacing it it seems their for good!

Unclipped it from the back, but mine was loose anyway as the previous owner had obviously had it on and off to hide things in the resulting compartment.

I does just slide over the handbrake handle, got to pull the rubber through the slit in the caret then work it off

but it doesnt fit over the handbrake handle and the plastic bitwont come out of the carpet

with fords you un swivel the gear knob then unclip the gaitor which just pulls upwards.

can you not do this with corsas but instead of unswiveling the knob off, you would need to pull it hard i think.

sounds good in practise, but im unsure how this helps with a handbrake gaitor.
