I know it's a corsa forum, but I'm not an active member on any VW sites yet so thought I'd ask here 1st.
I'm going to be picking up a mk4 polo at the weekend that's currently got a 1.6 engine in it and I'd like to start looking into changing the engine for something a bit quicker.
How easy is it to convert to a VR6? Are there any online guides? Failing that, what other engines can be picked up for under Ł500 that would be worth using?
I'm guessing they might not be so simple to do as I dont recall seeing many around.
Any help would be great

And another slightly stranger question actually... does anyone know if a 2nd alternator can be fitted to the VR6 engine?
