Spotted another XSI i fancy buying (The blue one in inverness, for those who know what im on about)
Now the XSI would only be used at weekends, is there any insurers out there that cover weekend only?
306 HDI will likely be the main runabout.
Also, can I put my no claims to both policys? Or is it only one policy that can have my no claims?

i use admiral joint policy and was suprised how cheap it was to be fair.
And yep- no claims to both as its one policy but with 2 cars on.
Unsure regarding the weekend only question though

Well im with admiral now, and I tried a multiquote, but they are quoting me more for a group 5 306 diesel than they are now for my 106 GTI (Grp 14)
Edit, might try phoning them to see, online quote must be miles out, hopefully will be less over the phone, was working out at £1700 odd for both cars, rather than the £760 im paying now.

Gota be 21 for most day insure places. Could cover note it now and then I suppose, but it would be nice to drive it most weekends. Was going to buy it as a permanent track car, but heres only about 3 trackdays a year up here, and they cost about £180 a pop

I think you should buy it, get it to the point where you want to start driving it and then have it as your only car it would save you money in the long run

Keep it off the road for a month or so and do most that you want to do to it, *touchwood* mine has been fine and it gets abused every day, they're too much fun to be sat around 5 days a week, you would wake up and feel like taking it to work instead of the sensible car

Mmm, i could probably break it for more than £550 if needs be. Think ill just get a cover note for it just now, needs work done.

If you get separate policies, then NCB can only be declared on one policy. But if you tell the company you have xx NCB but its used on another car they will sometimes mirror it.

i run 2 cars, they are on seperate policys so one has 6yrs ncd and the other 1 year. so its £600 for the integra and £250 for my skoda. multi car would not work for me as the integra is an import and they wanted over 1k for that alone.
Cheers MJ
