im just wondering about a ruff price on a convertion, i want a 2.0 colibra engine droped into my 1l corsa are they a straight forward fit?? and how much ruffly would it cost me for everything to the finish project like

a few grand would get you a brand new engine from vauxhall and jesus to fit it for you

If you look in the right places im sure you could get all parts needed for about £500 and then im sure some people off here would do it for a few hundren fitting.

save about 1k mate, a few grand isnt as daft as it sounds if u wanted to rebuild the thing before it went in.

Depends what you define as a few 
If you get it rebuilt then that's some extra £££ right there.

well id rather just pay a high price for a decent engine then i wouldent have to do much rely just would need someone to fit it like, but ill start putting some money behind and saving then when iv got a bit ill start looking for an engine cheers for the reply lads

Also depends if the car is ready to handle the engine i.e. suspension & brakes.

There's no need for discs on the back IMO, uprate the fronts instead.
For a garage to supply and fit an engine, shaft and hubs you're looking at about £1500-2000 depending where you go. But as said, if you find someone privately that's good at doing it you could save a couple of hundred. But bear in mind you won't get any sort of warrenty or piece of mind should it fuck up.
