195 50 15's i have. im after some wider ones for the front. 205's obviously go on. what about 215's, or 225's? im not that fussed about them sticking outwards. its the other side for shocker clearance that concerns me. ordering up some 225 50 15's is a costly deal for them not to fit on.

anyone any gen?

yea you would probs have inner clearance problems nic. i've got 15x7's and wit the 195/50's they are bloody close to the shock body! even 205's would be pushing it tbh...

I have 205/45/17s on the silver corsa and they don't rub the shocker.

fully prepared to get 2 spare wings also and get some spats made up to cover tyres if needed. 195 50 15 just cant provide enough grip.

For road miles you'll need to cover them, it's an MOT fail and may attract a pull. I wouldn't worry off-highway though.

well we do a lot fo testing etc so will need them to be on the road i guess. making arches cover them will be no problem.

suppose if needs be could fit a spacer between to give a bit more clearance for wider tyres to the wheel. i think 225's might be pushing it. reckon i could get away with 215's and possibly they'd go ona 6 wide wheel. 205's definitely will.
