Just for the record my mate had a clio 182 and that went on the rollers and achived that figure so the rollers were not massively out...

Infact it was at a North West and North Wales RR session...

When raced against the Clio he was only just pulling...

depends on use of the car, if its 1/4 mile use a standard xe and use nitrous so you'll have power on a switch. 250bhp

If its fast road/track use ITB's. 200bhp

If its for the track/road and 1/4mile use ITB's and GAS 300 bhp

2 xe's.

both fresh rebuilds ported head on both stock cams.

1 with twin45s made 148@wheels at 6.5k still needs running in fully, but a genuine 180fly or so bhp.

1 with bike tbs and a cut/shut manifold(engines in a mini clubman) 143 or 147@ wheels at 6.2k. needs fully running in too

180bhp or so is abit the limit with xe cams. no one go on about LETS, as i have seen what they will make power too. some people may think its abit low, but i know how easy it is too change figures on a rolling road so it can read more and how far out some rolling roads are.

id imagine quite a lot as you'd not bother putting forge pistons in etc to get it out to a 2.1 as you cant do it with a re-bore and oversize pistons

Yes you can. IIRC with 87mm pistons = 2087cc, with basic maths and rounding thats a 2.1.

no, basic maths with 87mil pistons will tell you its a 2045cc bore. and im unsure if they actually make std replacement pistons bigger than 87mil, or even at 87mil to begin with.

should do 86.5 and 87mm oem pistons. autosprint do 86.5, 86.75 and 87mm aftermarket jobbies.

then likes of accralite, CP, wossner, omega, je, wiseco go up to 88mm which is just under 2.1ltr
