Girlfriend is paying £110 a month to insure her Saxo VTR, so has started looking at Ford Kas as they are £50 a month to insure.

What other cars would you suggest?

Up to £600.
Must be cheap to insure
Under 1.5 for cheaper tax.

Can only think of Micra, Ka, Fiesta, maybe 1.0 or 1.2 corsa?

Just done a quote on a 1.4 sport and it comes out at £60 per month.

Think we'll be looking for one of these!

I'd recommend a 1.2 16v Corsa over the 1.4 Sport, if you want cheaper motoring from all angles.
