was just wondering.
Have a 2000, 1.0 12v Corsa.
Looking to lower it about 50mm.
just wondering if buying a set of lowering springs would be ok for it, or if i would need something else to lower it?
just want to know if they woul do, the 50mm spring set for the front and back?
help much appreciated!
thanks, callum

Depends on your budget the old saying you get what you pay for applies, my suggestion would be bilsteins and eibach springs, or you could do apex, gmax ,spax etc etc, if you go 50mm low you will need shorter uprated shocks or the ride will be crap.

lets just go with this right?
if i was looking to lower my car with a profile of 195/45/15, and preferrably 50mm..
what would be the best thing to do/buy for that.
dont take into concidertion price etc, but what would be the best thing to get?
and ROUGHLY how much would it be?
much appreciated.

The best is a matter of opinion, what is the definition of quality, you have a 1.0 L 12v its not going to need state of the art suspension set up or tip top gear ,get your self a budget set up for about £300.

Coilies ftw because if you don't like a 50 drop you can drop it more or jack it up any time you like plus there are some cheap sets out there 150 I paid for fk's or I rang gaz the other day and they quoted 475 plus vat for 4 coilovers which are damp adjustable very cheap for gaz IMO
