had a play with a Porsche Carrera 4S this morning..

VXR8 1 - Carrera 0

Only took it up to 60mph cos im still getting used to RWD through the bends but i was clearly ahead of him..

looked it up and its 0-60 is 4.6 mine is 4.9 so i guess really if he tried extra hard he would win.. by a wee bit

was reading the book and it says run in for brakes etc is 600-1000 miles

the diff can take up to 3k to fully run in. So top speed runs shouldnt be attempted for a bit yet. but i will finally be able to take the car over 70mph soon

i could never have the patience to go 3k in a vxr8 without flat out acceleration/drifty fun.

im allowed to boot it hard but not take it over 70 for more than 10mins at a time

oh, thats a bit better then. can go for a top speed run, that shouldn't take 10 minutes anyway
