mates wanting a 1.2 sxi corsa b

but what should he look out for?

are they cam belted or chained?

how often do they need changed?
do the clutches or head gaskets go like they do on x14's?

Flat spots between 1-2k revs seem to be common, caused by a broken EGR valve, also ther cam/crank shaft sensors go on them, but are easy to replace. And i think they're chain driven.

Air flow meters go on them more than usual, but thats not a big worry.
