After Audi's no fault found diagnosis of overactive rad fans I was 99.9% sure it was thermostat or water pump. They wanted £1100 to supply and fit both..............

Anyway, its been a nightmare job, mainly down to oil cooler pipes that were badly corroded and wouldn't come off without terminal damage BUT that's good in some ways as they were really badly corroded and needed replacing! One of these going at full oil pressure and it would have been curtains for the engine!!

Anyway, the thermostat is in as is the waterpump and its also had new belts and tensioners while they were off! Now the oil cooler pipes have turned up it will get finished by midweek!
