no the CC is a 3 door coupe - thats a 5 door fastback

No, Matt, it's not.

They're both 4 door coupes.

Are you getting confused with the Eos? As the CC wasn't designed as a convertible either

The strange thing is, the A5 Sportback is a hatch, when the Passat CC is not - I'd have thought they were the same car but in a fancy frock, like the Golf and A3.
