VTEC engagement is much lower, although i'm not entirely sure how it works but i'm being moddist with that figure alot hit 230 + with manifold, de-cat, exhaust and filter.
I think it's more along the lines of at around 5200 RPM it's giving 20 BHP plus but in the standard VTEC zone your talking of a gain of about 6 - 8 BHP.

reported for baiting. i was actually trying to find out why they fitted it. nothing else.
Is baiting a justified reason to report someone?
If so.......I could have a field day in Sportsday.

Thing is...I wouldn't. Its the internet. I could just log off. This is why I find this reporting hilarious.

Dont CTR's have launch control as standard anyway?
iirc if you hold the throttle flat to the floor whilst stationary in first gear it doesnt let the revs go above 4.5k...
As for the M3's SMG box, if you use it more than 3 times it voids the gearbox warranty with bmw - it doesnt make it shut down or need resetting etc. It does fuck the box and clutch though if you use it often.
