mate has PS3 and can go on the net on it and everything, however on COD when he goes to play online it just keeps saying "downloading game settings" and does not let him join games? any ideas?

you have to do some sort of port forwarding etc on the ps3 or you used to have as it was a common problem.

mine did this before and its because internet was connected to a router , quick power off of the router and back on and it worked.

mine does this quite a bit only on cod 4 and only first time i turn on, once i have joined then i can join any games with ease, paint in the arse to stat with though

i have to shut down limewire and any torrents that are running on my pc before i start a online game on ps3 or i get a x party migrate error
