do all cat c cars require a vic check even if the v5, mot and tax is present?

i tihnk so i had a wee cat c corsa for sale, had the v5 and was taxed and moted, sold the car and if you do a hpi check it comes up the date of the accident and that fact its never had a vic

Cat C requires VIC, D doesnt..

You need to ring vosa and they will tell you if it has a vic marker on it, some do some dont
