seen someone talking about a thing to convert h4 to h7 but duno if h7 means low and high beam or not

H4 bulbs have 2 filaments, and do high and low beam.

You'd need a new bulb with the sliding guard on it and the relay to control it, better off selling them and getting a new set.

Little magnet inside moves a bit of metal to deflect the beam to make HI/LO. Simples. And yes HID's driect do them, They are 2 mins away from my work, I fitted some to a mk3 golf the other day (cl spec with h4's) and they work a treat

HIDS direct, the link's above.
They've got two types - the ones with the moving bit and the ones with 2 different bulbs for high/low.
