Just wondering what your thoughts are on MG ZS 1.8
i have heard very mixed reviews on them,
Took one for a test drive earlier and thought it was quite good tbh!
Seemed to go alright and handled well too for a standard car...
What is there too look out on these? as they seem to be wuite cheap so this must be for a reason right? thanks

The 1.8's are 130bhp iirc. Don't quote me on that though

i think they are 120bhp too. i wasn't aware that they are THAT common on head gasket (more so than other cars), a v6 would be a bit too much for me i think haha! cheers guys

They are called MG ZS 120 but they actually have 115 bhp lol, 0-60 of 9 secs and dont weigh that much. Ill mention that ive got one lol so i know what im on about . Its an okay car, if you get the right model they look awesome for very little money. Handling is superb and really holds in the corners, engine isnt that bad it just needs to be worked. youve got to keep them serviced though. Here is a picture of mine, its an 05 1.8 120+ with the optional extras of the full 180 bodykit and 17" alloys.

My opinion on MG's are...they are already 'boy racer styled' for you, so perfect for any lads that enjoy drinking cider on a friday night.
lol

Go for the V6 so you don't need to worry about the heed gasket
