How come they're so much cheaper than the main dealer? Would you be able to go to the main dealer and tell them you can buy a £12k car for £9k on the web and they'd be able to give similar discounts?

Depends what car, and whether the 12k is the rrp.

If 12k is rrp you'll get it for 9k at a dealer anyway.

In fact, even Perrys who are the local Fiat garage have Cuntos advertised for £9300 which is £3400 discount. Seems strange when 2-3 year olds are for sale for £6.5k...

One thing I forgot about is something Kurt said the other day about Fiat trying to get rid of all the current stock on GP's to make room for the face-lifts. Might work out nicely because I like my current car, I just want a faster one with leather and you'd have to be blind to buy the facelift.

Shame the Corsa VXR's are a bit too pricey for me as I've taken a shine to them recently

I'd have any corsa over the punto after looking inside the punto, better engine in the punto if you go for the 1.9td though.

The 1.9 has been shrunk into a 1.6 now. Not sure what it's like; but I was looking at the 1.4 T-Jets. Corsa D SRi is worth a look perhaps as I guess that's the equivalent to the Sporting.

Went to Thames Fiat today and they had a sexual sporting on the forecourt. It was and un-registered GP Sporting. 1.4 T-Jet with climate control, rain sensor wipers and a sub. It didn't have leather which I kinda want, but the cloth interior is pretty smart in black. The dials are really cool in them too.

Shame he wanted £13k for it
