Bought a pressure washerand snow foam lance today.. Question is do I have to dilute the snow foam in the lance or do I just put it in neat? Obviously the pressure washer dilutes it but I'm new to this so didnt want to go taking the paint off my car..

Dilute. Will depend on output of pressure washer, concentration ratio of the snow foam and the size of the foam lance bottle.
If it's 1L, work on a rough basis of 1 inch snow foam topped up with water. To get the foaming action kickstarted, fill the bottle up with warm water.

The snow foam bottle says for normal use dilution is 1 - 5%. Its a 1 litre lance and pressure isn't that high but pretty reasonable.

Glad I asked now because I've got it filled 50/50 just now, will go and sort it out just now.. lol

The other thing Rich is that the lance has an adjuster on the top, am I just as well using that for getting the ratio right or is it best to have the mix in the bottle as you said and just have the nozzle fully opened?

Cheers for the help btw..

I tend to just use around 1 inch in the bottom and crank the adjuster right open - the adjuster alters the dilution ratio as well. If you find it's way to watery and it doesn't dwell at all, try going up to around 2 inches in the bottle

Which snow foam is it btw?

Cherry stuff..

Will get some decent stuff bought if I like using it..

Jungle, I'm not embarresed, I've used a sponge and a bucket for 7 years so this is all new to me.

Picking up the new car tommorow and its only a year old so going to try and keep it as good as I can so might buy some more decent cleaning stuff.

my personal recommendation for a decent snow foam would be Bilt Hamber Autofoam. Not the cheapest, but the best by a longshot imo
