are they ridiculous in your area too?
I just got a few bulbs, a boot carpet and I asked for 2 mirrors (they take mirrors off so you can't nick them), but they give me astra mirrors anyway, they fit but look really thick and nasty. £30 they charge me, bloody cheeky or what? I would have thought £20 was enough but...-_- I need the mirrors, just got a section 59 and I need to make my car road legal as the coppers picked out all the bad points about it...

Well I had m3 'style' mirrors, I liked them but lots of people said they look 'chavvy', so in a drunken rage at about 3am, I booted both of them off my car. lol
So I had no mirrors 
but don't you think £30 for a boot carpet and 2 ASTRA mirrors is over the top from a scrappy? o_O

But why did you smash them off? No matter how drunk i have ever got, smashing a part off my car has never even crossed my mind, no matter what other people thought of my car!
Maybe if you had removed them with some care, you may have been able to sell them to buy a pair of standard corsa mirrors (you could have maybe even found someone on here to do a swap) and that would have been nice and cheap then!?
But yes, you did get ripped off!
Oh, and 0 points for driving around with no mirrors

oh and ..fucking stupid around here too, guy wanted £20 for a fucking steel wheel, he got laughed at...even though he looks fucking solid and i'm a wee guy. i wasn't paying that. Everything has went up tenfold, and get fuck all for what you give them.

me and my girlfriend were having a really bad argument that night. it was that or the windows.
I think the guy is just a nobhead, there's another foreign guy works there, he always charges me barely anything but this other english guy rips me off every time.
It's the only scrap I know of in this area
