Yeah Desired plate is usually on a 500+ supercharged Monaro.

Mega purchase, £22k is peanuts considering the Astra only cost a little less (sat nav etc). Buy shares in Shell.

Don't expect "owwwww" performance, but expect to put your foot down, any gear, any revs, and it to pull and pull smoothly and effortlessly.

A lot of car for the money, I pass a couple round here frequently, and thye always stand out, just for pure size (esp when between a fiesta and a corsa ).

good buy!!

Peoples thoughts are different Olly. My bike does it much much faster

I mean its a big heavy car, with a lot of power. Its not like a normal engine where theres not that much lower in the revs, but much more top revs..

Those V8's have constent torque and power, it'll feel like it pulls just as hard at 3000rpm as it does at 5000rpm....

Its not a dig of the car, all big V8's like it are similar. Even when tuned (watch V8 series).

Don't spin my positive remarks into a negative........!!!!!!

Im not expecting it to be like a rocketship..
but i am expecting it to accelerate well from all the torque.

Still 4.9sec isnt too bad for a car that size/weight

It will do Steve. it'll pull just as hard in 6th gear at 4000rpm, as it will do in 3rd gear at 4000rpm (well, it won't, but similar).

Belting torquey engines. U'll abosutly love it. Proper motorway muncher!!!!!

We really considered getting one as we have no fuel costs. But the simple fact is, its too long for my double garage!!!!!!!
