how can you tell if they are nakerd?

the rear of my car knocks when going over speedbumps and when theres someone in the back it seems to make strange noises when pulling away, cornering and again speedbumps or uneven road surface.

Is it lowered? Have you checked the exhaust? That's normally what tends to clunk when you have a full, lowered Corsa!

is it a corsa C as this seems to be a common problem...

if yor not so clued up on car mechanics, why not just pop it into a garage and ask them to check things over... it will probably be free!

Check that there are rubber pads underneath the rear springs, they are about 5mm thick from the image in my head. Quite often people take them out when lowering and forget to put them back in, they are there to stop the springs knocking.

One check you can do is take the shocks off, push them against a hard surface so that the piston compresses, then see if it comes back out on its own or not. If it doesn't come back out without you pulling it then they're on the way out.
