Got my car washed earlier so took my mates car for a bit while it was being done! So different to the RS6 but the M division definitely got it right with this one!!!

It is a nice motor but as I said very different to the RS6. I dont think Id swap the RS6 for it, not because the RS6 is a better car or anything but just because the RS suits my needs at the moment!
The difference between the two V8's is unbelievable as well! The M3's is revvy like an F1 car and when you blip the throttle its back down to idle within the second whereas the RS is lazier and sounds more like you expect a V8 to sound, almost weird how fast it can accelerate with an engine that never sounds like its trying?
Handling wise is pretty much what you'd expect, the RS tries its best for a fat girl.....she can run but she doesnt dance too well! The M3 is sharp and nimble and although I didnt really get chance to stretch it properly Id say its one of (if not) the best handling cars Ive driven!
The only downside to the M3 is that it did struggle getting the power down even with the traction control on and it was dry and warm too! Not a really bad thing though as it obviously makes the car more entertaining to drive but I do think it could catch you out sometimes!!!

My mate has an E46 M3 and he heard it for the first time last night when he gave a mate a shot.
He was gutted how weedy it sounded

they dont sound anything like the E46, it has a V8 rumble when they boot it.
