just wonderd what i would need to do either a xe or let convertion on my hyundai << yes a hyundai

or what would i be looking at if i got someone to do it for me?


also any pics of XE & LET engines please

you'd need to make mounts and shafts etc.

no? it would need mounts making up to suit the engine being fitted into the hyundai chasis, then it would need shafts making to go from the gearbox to the front hubs. its not at all easy.

just think of it like the first person whoever did a corsa 20xe would have done. had to make parts to make the engine to fit in a shell it was never designed to be in.

If you've got the time, money and paitience I can't see why not. As long as you know what you are doing anything is possable

Mitsubishi engines are very easy to fit apparently... i think evo 5 or 6 engine is almost a straight swap. not sure about g/box.
