Im not bull shitting, but i had a civic type r next to me last night off a roundabout (same shape as Andy Number's) i dropped it a gear and managed to get a way ever so slightly) unlles she wasnt trying...please say he wasn't trying ive only got a 1.4 Polo. Lol.

ill admit pound for pound id say the CTR is a good car.
but the illusion of it being/feeling mega fast is the fact that it doesnt pull until on vtec really.
good example would be my mates lancia intergrale and my mates mk4 astra gsi...the lancia felt silly quick compared to the astra. very similar power, but the lancia felt quicker because of the lag, whereas the astra is very smooth in the way it delivers the power.
same in the CTR case its nothing(as such) then balls out

i wish, funny though becuase i put my footdown on the m/way and pull away from beemers/mercs (for a short while though)

ive got a 1.4 8v 6n polo and thats the fastest thing on the motorway...foot to the floor all the way, the 8v loves the pain!
