I used to have no problem with that, on my 130bhp fwd golf.. But on a 343bhp rwd car you have to question your sanity.

Thay were £93 each. and 3 of his credit cards were declined, but luckily the 4th worked
I would reccomend Bridgestone Re050's
Heard nothing but praise for them lately,

I won't give you a price, as we are the cheapest in the highlands, due to us being suppliers aswell. so it could be misleading for prices down your way.
But call your tyre man and ask him for a price.

Looking on the mytyres.co.uk website the they dont do the Brigestones in a 255/35/19 size. They do 265/35/19 though which are quite reasonable :
Bridgestone Potenza RE 050 A 265/35 - ZR19 94Y BSW, DZ, double marking 94ZR, N0 asymmetric
only £205.70
I quite like the look of 'DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX GT 255/35 ZR19 96Y XL with rim protection' - £194.70

You can get the Bridgestones from black circles, thats what I'd go for personally.

Hmmm we'll see if the local place can get them.
265's will be a bit fatter, probably for more grip Jambo!? Im not bothered i'll replace like for like but I know a lot of owners go for 265's, some go further, 275 etc

Ive seen 295/30 on an M3 before. But that was on a 10.5" rear. The standard 19s are only 9.5"
Edit, 265 is 10mm wider than a 255 tyre, tbh, i dont think there will be noticably big difference in grip? Obv depending on what tyres they are.

They are tonnes better than the standard Bridgestone RE040 ditch finders and much cheaper!
