We had our first corsa casualty today, r reg star silver sxi with 36k on it..
I probably would have saved it too, looked pretty clean!

Complete waste. I bet loads of cars with nothing wrong with them have been traded in. All so the UK can subsidise overseas manufacturers to do more damage to the environment than driving an old car ever will.

it's only logical really. a 12 year old corsa b won't sell for 2k in the used car market.
shame really, as it'd be a nice buy for a first time driver being a 1.2 sxi.
heard of a few nice old cars getting scrapped for the 2k scheme

we get some nice cars in too in scrappage, was a mint ford couger, not the best car but with 26k on the clock was a gem
