My exhaust has been blowing for ages now, had a crack all around a join on the centre section, been putting off getting a replacement for months, basically because I couldn't be bothered! As such my car has sounded pretty funky, surprised I never got pulled to be honest! Got a new stainless centre section last week from Graham Goode Racing, just got back from my mates Dad's work shop where my mate and his bro fitted it for me (My mates worked on my car Nik!  ) Turns out as well as the crack there was a great big hole too, no wonder it sounded like a plane taking off  New exhaust went on like a glove 
The thunder noise has gone though
