What's funny about that?

That video shows the focus pulling until it gets to a corner, I didn't comment on the handling of the clio, although a clio 200 isn't a 182 either.

It still needs the shit kicked out of it until it gets to a corner.

that's what i'm worried about really looking at CTR's like gavin's ''old'' one but just not sure whether it's worth paying more than the st on insurance for one.

just need to free up some cash and getting rid of the focus is the easiest way to do so, just don't want to be in a car that is a lot slower

I had a 220 bhp ibiza before mine and after a day it didn't bore me at all, it was far more exciting

By the way, i now own a civic type R and had a 182 for a year, the civic is less torquey, but up in the revs it fells quicker. My mate had a facelift CTR the whole time i had mine and there was nothing between us. People who are on WR will vouch for that as we were like it at combe and trax

slower than a type r? since when was a type r fast? the 182 is defo quiker than a type r, i done a type r in my worn out old redtop corsa

When did i mention that a Type R is fast?

I have owned both, prefer the Clio but can assure you its not as fast as the Civic in a straight line, 90% of the owners on Cliosport.net will quite happily tell you this.

you just did

costs me over 700 quid a month just to run the car (petrol, finance, GAP, insurance)

would love to keep it as it's lovely to drive, so easy just to put your foot down any gear/any revs and go.

had a look at the new rs in the dealership today in green, oh my, what an awesome car

A few of my mates have/had 172/182s and the wifes CTR is pretty much quicker than all of them apart from mt mates 172 cup thats been modded. Thats just my PERSONAL experiance of them mind

My old XE corsa used to be alot quicker than the 172/182s and I had a play with a CTR no long before I sold it and couldnt catch it for love nor money.

JUST MY EXPERIANCES OF THEM REMEMBER

At Crail a type R beat me in the XE by 0.07secs, the bastard. I beat a 182 by about half a second on the same day though.

Basically it all comes down to the driver, to save this thread ending up 8 pages long.
