My m8s 306 lol had to wait hour n half for AA. to make matters worse.........RAC van drove past lol oh well we had a short nap

I wish I was so lucky to have just that happen! Mine keeps bogging down at 2-3k revs, came up as EGR valve, changed that and it still done it. AA said it was the cat blocked, swapped the cat and its still doing it :@

306 D Turbo? If so, try unplugging EGR and run it without.

Straight through exhaust then

If it's a derv, still worth trying it with the EGR unplugged though - some cars work well without it, some don't.
