My MOT is due 29th July, am I right in thinking if i went for an MOT say next week and it failed, i'd still be legal till the 29th?

I'd like to know now whether i'm likely to be forking out for repairs or not, instead of waiting till then and having to sort it quickly.

no you can still drive its just people go before it runs out so they know what they have to get fixed so it gives them time to save for the parts

Oh cool, so the first comment was wrong, and if i go 4 weeks before it's due and it fails i'll have until the 29th July to get it sorted? If it passes it'll be 13 months... nice
