My first bike is Triumph t595 Daytona 955cc and ive not looked back, end of the day bigger bikes are not as good round small corners etc due to weight and size but they excel in every other category..

its you twisting the throttle not the bike just gotta be careful and keep your wits about you.... i test drove bandit 600 and 1200 and id take 1200 any day of the week as first bike, same goes for sportsbikes 600's are lacking something dont get me wrong they are quick but dont seem to have the pull and all the power is at top end....

tbh id look at fazer 1000 they are nice bikes and very very fast but un-stable at high speed so tend to back off and ride bit more sensible, plus its does all a bike can do really be sporty/tour/commute etc etc

to get my point accross is like saying drive a 200bhp car then drive 75bhp fiesta and you instantly want your 200 bhp NOT FOR SPEED but purly for the way the engine feels although the performance is not as far between bikes like cars
