... they're available in in 120bhp and 150bhp..... but can anyone tell me what to look out for on the 150bhp version so i knows its a 150bhp and not a 120 version

Only real way to know is shove it through an insurance quote and see what it says. Or the DVLA website that tells you whether it's insured, taxed etc, can't remember that though.

I think, and don't quote me, the difference in badges on the rear has something to do with it i.e. no red letters = 120bhp, not entirely sure - I know that is how it works on VAG cars.

i got told this too from vauxhall. they said if the 'Ti' were coloured in red then it was the 150bhp version BUT badges can be changed quite easily just wondered if there was another else like the clocks ?

TI should be red for the 150. They are pretty different engines to look at aswell

i had a 150 bhp elite and the insurance database had it down as a 120. I'm on my phone now so can't find it for you, but there ip a way of telling by the way the fuel rail is. You need to find pictures of both engines and compare. The 150 is by far the better option. Really quick and super efficient. Look at 40 mpg even booting it all the time.


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Nah I'm pretty sure all 1.9's are 6 speed.

the vectra is the new face lift version so its got the diamond shaped lights on the front
